Appearance:
Personality: This incarnation of the Doctor is a lot more alien than his previous incarnation. He's constantly moving around bizarrely, like some form of drunk giraffe. He's almost always got a smile on his face, and is quite playful and joking with most people. He tends to tease his enemies with pointless things like jammie dodgers, and doesn't like to show fear in the face of the enemy. He often finds himself obsessed with certain things he finds incredible like bowties and fezes, and often goes off on tangents.
However, beneath all this there's a deep brooding man who you don't want to unleash. When under a lot of pression, this tends to come out, as grumpy, serious and threatening. When like this, he doesn't care about anything but fixing the problem. On the other hand he can also be quite tender and comforting, even if his alien brain doesn't quite click with it. He's always there with soothing words for a friend, and always looking for the positive side to a situation.
Abilities/Skills: The Doctor is a Time Lord, and so has limited psychic abilities, a full understanding of time travel and a genius intellect, plus can regenerate once his body is worn out or dying.
Weaknesses: The Doctor can be killed, but will normally regenerate afterwards, unless there is a specific reason otherwise. He is still emotionally raw from the death of the Time Lords, and misses them and many of his companions who have left him.
History: Born on Gallifrey, the Doctor was a Time Lord who wished to see the stars properly, and not be cooped up on Gallifrey, merely observing the universe. For this very reason, he stole a Type 40 TARDIS along with his granddaughter Susan, and travelled the stars. Eventually, he landed in 1960s London, where his TARDIS' chamelion circuit was damaged, and left it permanently as a police box.
He met two humans, Ian and Barbara, and ever since has found a love for Earth, and found humans to be friendly companions. He showed them things they never dreamed of, taking men and women from the past, future, present, and even some aliens. At the end of his second incarnation though, his past caught up with him, and he was exiled to Earth for crimes against Time. However, he proved himself a hero to the Time Lords, and was released once more.
He continued to travel, regenerating from time to time, and moving on from one companion to another. Each time he lost a companion, whether voluntarily or not, it hurt the Doctor, but initally he ignored the pain. He merely moved on, and was happy for them, or in some cases, mourned them. However, once the Time War came, the pain increased for him. Thousands of Time Lords were killed by the Daleks, and in the end, the Doctor had to wipe out his entire race, before they became insane.
He was a broken man until he met Rose Tyler, a young human, who gave him a purpose once more. She and many other companions have left him since, and he has regenerated a couple more times. Now, he is in his eleventh body, travelling with Amy and Rory. The mystery of River Song, someone who seems tangled into his future, and the constant reminder: "Silence Will Fall..."
Sample Post:
"Oh boy! Ice cream!" the Doctor cheered, an excitable look planted across his face.
He ran over to the ice cream truck ahead of Amy and Rory, jumping up and down at the choices. Vanilla, or chocolate, or strawberry, or mint. The idea of a fish custard ice cream ran through his mind for a moment, before he randomly pointed at a flavour.
"Strawberry for me!" he told the ice cream man, and waited giddily.
As he did so though, something caught his eye. Something so tantalising that he couldn't stop himself bending down to examine it. On the wall next to the ice cream truck, there was a crack. A tiny crack. A crack that was all too familiar to him. It had stalked him through time, and he thought it had stopped. Maybe it hadn't? He tentatively reached out to touch it. His fingertips lightly touched it, and he pulled away, to find the crack had smudged, and there was a bit on his hands. It was dirt. Just dirt. And yet he had fallen for it.
"Here you go, mate," the ice cream man called from his van, and a thoughtful Doctor stood up to receive it.
"Lovely jubbly," the Doctor murmured, and walked off, throwing a fiver in the direction of the van.
